We are located on Hog Mountain Road (Highway 53) just northeast of Watkinsville, Georgia.  Go toward Watkinsville on Highway 53.  Just past the High School and the Oconee County Civic Center and before the Publix at Butler’s Crossing is an old white, historic Victorian home on the right.  The space is shared with Spark, a charitable organization selling a wonderful collection of vintage items.

Jane Bath

Jane BathJane has over 25 years of landscape design experience at over 4,000 sites including residential, commercial, retail sites, and public gardens. 

Here is a brief resume:
Emory University, B.A. ‘63
DeKalb Community College, Landscape Technology ‘82

Former owner of Land Arts Nursery of 18 years,  Won Best in Atlanta (various categories) by Atlanta Magazine twice, sourced by the AJC, Better Homes and Gardens Magazine and Southern Living Magazine.  She discovered Dianthus gratianopolitanus ‘Bath’s Pink” which was a Georgia Gold Medal Perennial.  She has been a guest speaker at The Callaway Gardens Winter Symposium - twice, St. Louis Arboretum, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Georgia State Botanical Garden Symposium, Atlanta Historical Society, Georgia Native Plant Society, Georgia Green Industry Symposium, South Carolina Trade Show, Ohio State Trade Show, Charleston Botanical Society, and many Master Garden and Garden Clubs. 

Notable designs include:
Barnsley Garden perennial border [used as the cover for Southern Heirloom Garden]
Newton Medical Center
Seeger’s Five Star Restaurant in Buckhead

Jane has been quoted numerous times in Southern Living including a full spread on her garden ‘Jane Bath is a Born Gardener’.  She also has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens with some of her projects as well as in videos made for distribution on TV.  Steve Bender, author of Passalong Plants included a chapter on Jane Bath, as well a Linda Copeland’s Legends in the Garden and Lois Trigg Chaplin’s Book of Lists.

Ginny Smith

Ginny is a graduate of The University of West Georgia in Accounting and is responsible for all of the wonderful unique garden gifts and decor that are available at our gallery in Watkinsville.
